GHBN is a free interactive social network design to unite and educate its members on natural and organic hair, skin and beauty care practices. The information supplied here comes from a variety of sources and authors.
We encourage you to tell us what’s on your mind to enable us to aide you in achieving your goals, feel free to respectfully share your journeys, your thoughts and your concerns with us. Watch and share your videos to encourage others who are attempting their journeys, share your photos to show your progress, start a forum to discuss a topic of your own choosing as it relates to hair, health and beauty, create and join a group in order to support one another on a specific subject matter as it relates to hair, health or beauty.
We at GHBN want you to feel comfortable, relaxed, supported and encouraged as one of our members. We wish all of our members a happy and healthy journey, what ever it may be. Stick with a simple hair regimen in order to maintain healthy hair.
Make sure you keep your hair clean:
Moisturize & apply protein regularly:
Massage & oil your scalp daily or as needed:
Eat your vegetables and drink plenty of water:
And you can have gorgeous healthy hair too.
Tip: Make sure that you are not causing your hair to dry out by protein overloads. Check your product to ensure that it's not protein based, you want to use water based products. We often are using too many products that have protein in them without realizing it, which can cause our hair to dry and break off. Too much of a good thing can be bad for you. If you just did a protein treatment, and you want to do a deep conditioning treatment, then make sure that your deep conditioning treatment is water based and not protein based, this can cause protein overload. You can follow up with oil base to seal. If your product is water based, the word "WATER" will be the first through third word on your label for ingredients. Pay attention to what you are doing to your hair. HHJ ladies!
